- Before I began my academic career, I served as the Director of Data
Processing and Data Coordinator at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, VA, and
as the General Manager and System Analyst/Consultant at a computer solutions provider; ComputerWorks. I
worked my way through college as a radio station manager and announcer.

have. All of my grandchildren are the sweetest gift from God!
- Pride and joy: both my daughter and son attended GVSU and make me a
proud father and grandfather, all parenting credit goes to my wife.
- Cheering for GV Lakers teams and our grandchildren's games
